Setting the Speaker Information

To obtain best possible surround, register the center speaker (C–SP) and rear speakers (R–SP) settings after completing all the connections.

Before you start, remember...

There is a time limit in doing the following steps. If the setting is canceled before you finish, start from step 1 again.

From the remote control ONLY:

Each time you press the button, the indication in the main display changes as follows:

F–SP C–SP R–SP SW–SP

Normal indication (R–DEL)(C–DEL) (canceled)

CLEAR SEARCH REMAIN SLEEP

Front speaker setting and subwoofer setting are fixed. Even you can select these items by pressing SETTING, you cannot change their settings.

C–SP(Center speaker) : To register the center speaker information.

R–SP(Rear speakers) : To register the rear speakers information.

*“SMALL” is the initial setting.

If you have already changed the setting, “NONE” will be shown.

2 Press 3 (or 2) repeatedly to select the appropriate speaker information.

• Each time you press the button, the speaker information changes as follows:

ENTER

SMALL NONE

SMALL : Normally select this.

NONE : Select this when you do not want to use the corresponding speaker.

3Repeat steps 1 and 2 to select the appropriate information for the other speaker.
