User Settable Light Metering Areas
Select EDIT 1 or EDIT 2 for the BLC item. When the SET button is pressed, the user settable light metering area is displayed on
the monitor.

When operating using the camera body
1. Use the LEFT or RIGHT button to shift the position of the left side of the light metering area, and use the UP or DOWN button to shift the upper side.
2. Press the SET button to change the position to be set from the left/up side to the right/down side.
3. Use the LEFT or RIGHT button to shift the position of the right side of the light metering area, and use the UP or DOWN button to shift the down side.
4. When the SET button is pressed, the VIDEO ADJUST screen returns.
When operating using the
1. Press the SET button to select the light metering area position to be set. (Left/ up ➝ right/down ➝ left/up ...)
2. Press the PAN/TILT control lever to the left (8) or to the right (t) to shift the position of the left or right side, respectively.
Press the PAN/TILT control lever upward (6) or downward (7) to shift the up or down side position.
3. When the MENU button is pressed, the VIDEO ADJUST screen returns.

VIDEO ADJUST screen
When automatic adjustment of the white bal- ance results in a “reddish screen”, etc., ad- just the white balance manually.
1. Adjust the white balance manually. Set the WHITE BALANCE item on the VIDEO ADJUST screen to MANUAL and press the SET button.
•The MANUAL WHITE BALANCE adjustment screen appears on the monitor.
