Raise take-up lever to its highest position by turning handwheel toward you.

Raise presser foot lever.

Place spo_ on spool pin as shown, with thread coming from the back of the spool. (_ Draw thread into threadguide using both hands.

(_ While holding thread near spool, draw thread down into the tension area and then around the Check spring holder.

(_ Firmly draw thread up and through take-up lever from right to left. (_ Draw thread down and slip it into left side needle bar thread guide. (_) Thread needle from front to back.

NOTE: You may want to cut the end of thread with sharp scissors for easier needle threading.

Toumez le volant d la main vers vous pour amener te releveur-tendeurde f!t en position haute. Remontez le pied-de-biche. Posez la bobine de fil comme montr_, tefil se d_roulant par l' arridre. (_) Tenez lefil des deux mains et passez-le sous le guide-ilL

(2)Alors que vous retenez le fil pros de la bobine, tirez te fil vers le bas, dans la rainure, et autour du dispositif gzressort.

(_) Tirez fermement le fil vers le haut et passez-le, de droite ?tgauche, dans le crochet du releveurtendeur.

(_) Tirez le fil vers le bus et faites-le passer dans le guide-ill. (_ Enfilez l'aiguille d' avant en arridre.

REMAR QUE: Pour introduire plus facilement lefil dans le chas de l' aiguille, coupez le bout du fil avec des ciseaux bien aiguis_s.
