Scanning

4. Press		to select an option, then press		or to change the setting.
	Scan Option		Settings	Description
	Scan To		USB-connected	The scanned file is sent to the
			computer	USB-connected computer.
			(default)
			Name of computer	The scanned file is sent to the
			(only if a computer is	computer on the wireless or Ethernet
			connected by	network.

	Scan What		Document	Sets the scan settings for scanning a
			(default)	document (see Changing the scan
				settings for scanning from the
				control panel, page 34).
			Photo	Sets the scan settings for scanning a
				photograph (see Changing the scan
				settings for scanning from the
				control panel, page 34).
	Destination		File	Sends the scanned file in the format
			(default)	and to the location on your computer
				that you designate (see Changing the
				scan settings for scanning from the
				control panel, page 34).
			Application	Sends the scanned file to Home
				Center Software.
	Save as Defaults		No / Yes	To save the settings as the new
				default, press OK. With Yes selected,
				press OK.

5.Press Start to make a scan.

The scanned file appears at the destination you specified.
