Doing more with your camera

Using the drive mode for self-timer, burst, exposure bracketing

Some settings may be unavailable in some modes.

Press Drive.

 

(Press again to exit.)

The active icon is displayed in the EVF/LCD screen.

NOTE: For rapid setting changes, see page 40. For determining burst capacity, see page 32. Raw and TIFF are unavailable in Burst.

Drive mode

Description

Single

Camera takes one picture.

 

 

 

 

Self-timer

A 10-second delay to put yourself into the picture. Place

 

(10 sec)

camera on a tripod or flat surface.

 

 

 

 

Shutter Delay

A 2-second delay allows for a steady, auto-shutter release

 

(2 sec)

on a tripod.

 

 

 

 

Self-timer

Capture 2 pictures (one picture taken after 10 seconds and

 

(2-shot)

another picture taken 8 seconds later).

 

 

 

 

First Burst

Camera takes a series of pictures while the Shutter button is

 

Flash forced off.

Capture an expected event e.g., a person swinging a golf
