As necessary, set the interface timeout settings and parallel interface mode (Compatible, Nibble, or ECP) in the Utility mode on the control pan- el. For details, refer to “Printer Settings in Administrator Mode” on the Us- er’s Guide [Print Operations].
When using the parallel or USB local port, you must select the port being used. For details, refer to “IEEE 1284/USB” on the User’s Guide [Print Operations].
