3.3Accessing PageScope Web Connection

Setting the IP address for this machine enables you to access PageScope Web Connection.

With PageScope Web Connection, you can change the network settings of this machine from a computer.

Use your Web browser to directly access PageScope Web Connection.

1 Start up the Web browser.

2 In the “Address” bar, enter the IP address for this machine as shown below, and then press the [Enter] key.

http://<IP_address_for_this_machine>/

Example: If the IP address for this machine is 192.168.1.20 http://192.168.1.20/

If IPv6 is enabled and a Web browser other than Internet Explorer is used, enter the IPv6 address enclosed in brackets to access Pa- geScope Web Connection. http://[IPv6_address_for_this_machine]/

Example: If the IPv6 address for this machine is fe80::220:6bff:fe10:2f16 http://[fe80::220:6bff:fe10:2f16]/

If IPv6 is enabled and Internet Explorer is used, edit the hosts file to note “fe80::220:6bff:fe10:2f16IPv6 IPv6_MFP_1” and specify the URL according to the domain name.

The initial page of PageScope Web Connection appears.

Note

If the user authentication function is enabled, you must enter a user name and password.
