The KPS25sc is equipped with two remote controls. Thetabletop remotecontrol provides complete compactdisc transport functions as well as Krell preamplifier andpoweramplifier remotecontrol functions.

The handheld remote control contains power on/off, pause,play, stop, volumelevel control, andtrack backand track forward keys.

TABLETOP REMOTE CONTROL

The KPS25sc tabletop remote control, with direct accesscapability, providesfull-function remotecontrol operation. Tabletopremotecon- trol keys are labeled by section rather than numberedindividually. Crossreferencesto front panel buttons are in parentheses.

BATTERYINSTALLATION

AND REMOVAL

The KPS25sc Tabletop RemoteControl uses four AAA-size1.5 Volt batteries. TheKPS25sc Handheld RemoteControl uses two AAA-size

1.5Volt batteries. Batteries are included with the shipment.

These directions apply to both the Tabletop Remote Control and the Handheld Remote Control.

1.Removethe backplate, using the supplied T-10 Torx wrench.

2.Install the batteries, following the battery position diagram on the plastic battery receptacle.

3.Replacethe backplate.

Theremotecontrol is ready for operation.

Replacebatteries whenremotecontrol function becomesintermittent.

Removebatteries if the remotecontrol is not usedfor a long period of time. Battery leakage can damagethe remotecontrol.

Direct Track AccessKeypad

Usethe direct track accesskeypadto select a compact disc track. With the direct number accessfunction, the selected track beginsplay immediatelyafter youselect it. If the track you want to play is numbered1-9, press the key that correspondsto the track. Usethe +10 key to accesstracks numbered10 or higner.

Example:To accesstrack 8, press the number 8 key once. To accesstrack 10, press the +10 key once and the 0 key once. To accesstrack 24, press the +10key twice andthe 4 key once. Tracks consisting of two digits must be keyed within eight secondsof eachother.

Clear

Usethis key to delete the last entry selectedin a programmedsequence.

Special Play Functions

Repeat Key

Pressthis key onceto repeat the entire disc or track programcontinuously. REPEATALLappears in the compactdisc display (1). Presstwice repeat the current track continuously. REPEAT1 appears in the compactdisc display. Press a third time to cancelthis function.
