IMPORTANT
Makesure that the source componentis a sur- round sound processor. Source components that are not surround soundprocessorsshould not be connected to an input configured for Theater Throughput. Doing so can result in excessive and possibly damagingvolume lev- els when the source component is played. Always turn off the source componentbefore you configure any input on the KPS25sc for Theater Throughput.
To disengagean input from Theater Throughput:
1, Press the menucontrol button (29) or menu key. The word MENUappears in the menu display (26).
2.Rotatethe level knob(25) or press level key until the wordTHEATERappears.
3.Press the menucontrol button (29) or key again. Thewordc[~ appears.
AMPLIFIER CONTROLOPTIONS
Theseoptions are for users whoseKPS25sc is connectedto Krell Full PowerBalancedampli- fiers or MasterReferenceAmplifiers with Krell Link. Thetwoamplifier control options are:
Auto. Theamplifiers connectedthrough Krell Link automatically power on whenyou press the KPS25sc power button or key (factory default).
Off. TheKPS25sc will turn on whenyou press the powerbutton or key, but the amplifiers will remainoff until poweredon separately. If you wantyour amplifiers to poweron automatically each time you poweron the KPS25sc, keep the factory default. If you wantto use the KPS25sc without poweringon the amplifiers (for example, if you frequently makerecordings), then you maywish to changethe amplifier control option fromautoto off.
