4. Your phone will search and detect visible
Bluetooth devices in the vicinity.
5. At the device list, highlight a device and
select Add.
When pairing is initiated from another
Bluetooth device, you will be prompted to
accept or reject the pairing.
6. If necessary, enter the password provided
in the Bluetooth device’s user guide and
select OK.
Your phone waits for the device’s response. If the
password is accepted the device is added to your
device list.
Use Bluetooth
Before you can use the Bluetooth audio
functions of your phone, you must set your
phone to be ready to communicate with a
device. This is called “connecting.”

Connect to a Device

To connect your phone to an audio
Bluetooth device:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Bluetooth >
My Devices.
2. At the device list, highlight a device and
select Connec t.
A notification appears confirming the connection.
You can now us e the devic e with your phone.

Disconnect from a Device

To disconnect your phone from an audio
Bluetooth device:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Bluetooth >
My Devices.
2. At the device list, highlight a connected
device and s elect Disconnect.

Bluetooth Device Options

You can change or review the information about
each device you paired with your phone.
1. Select Menu > Settings > Bluetooth >
My Devices.
2. At the device list, highlight a device, select
Options and one of the following:
Rename renames the device.
Delete removes the device from
your phone if you are no longer
going to use it.
Services displays description of the
device (such as Headset, Handsfree,
Object Push, and Serial Port).
