Lock phone

Set Lock Phone

With your phone locked, you can call only emergency numbers or your service provider’s customer service number. You can still receive incoming calls.

1.From Security, enter your four-digit lock code.

2.Select Lock phone > OK and one of the following:

Never leaves the phone always unlocked.

On power up locks the phone every time you turn it on.

Now locks the phone immediately.

Unlock the Phone

1.From the home screen, select Unlock.

2.Enter your four-digit lock code.

Change Lock Code

Change your lock code from the default.

1.From Security, enter your four-digit lock code.

2.Select Change lock code > Yes.

3.Enter a new four-digit code.

4.Re-enter your new lock code.

Assign Special Numbers

Use Special numbers to specify three personal phone numbers you can call with your phone locked.

1.From Security, enter your four-digit lock code.

2.Select Special numbers.

3.Select an Unassigned slot.

4.Enter the number and select Done.

For privacy purposes, you can view these numbers only when entering them for the first time.

To make a call to an ICE number from a locked phone, you must dial the number (including area code) exactly as stored in Special numbers.

Erase All Contacts

1.From Security, enter your four-digit lock code.

2.Select Erase contacts > Yes > Yes to erase all entries from your contacts list.

Note: You cannot recover deleted information.

Erase All Downloads

1.From Security, enter your four-digit lock code.

2.Select Erase downloads > Yes > Yes to erase all your downloaded (excluding the preloaded) content.

Note: You cannot recover deleted information.
