Optical Zoom

With this mode, a zoom ratio up to 3.8x is possible if pictures without have been selected by [Picture Size] in the [Rec] menu. (→135)

●●Optical Zoom cannot be used in the following cases: ••Scene Modes ([Panorama Shot] [3D Photo Mode])

Extended optical zoom

With this mode, a zoom ratio up to 6.7x is possible when pictures with have been selected by [Picture Size] in the [Rec] menu (→135). EZ is short for “Extended optical zoom”.

●●Extended optical zoom cannot be used in the following cases: ••With [Snapshot Mode] (when [Motion Deblur] is [ON]) ••With motion picture recording

••When the [Burst Shooting] setting is set to [  ], [  ] or [  ]

••When the [Sensitivity] setting is set to [H.8000], [H.10000] or [H.12800] ••With the Scene Modes ([Panorama Shot] [HDR] [3D Photo Mode]) ••With [Creative Control] Mode ([Toy Effect])

••When the [Quality] setting is set to [  ], [  ] or [  ] ••When [Multi Expo.] is set in the [Rec] menu
