About recording modes

The camera automatically detects the scene to record motion pictures with optimal settings.

When the scene does not correspond to any on the right.

••In mode, focus and exposure will be set according to the face detected.

•• will be selected for nightscapes and other dark scenes.

••If the camera does not select your desired Scene Mode, choosing an appropriate mode manually is recommended.

Low light motion picture

[Sports], [HDR], [Pet]

Normal motion picture

••A motion picture cannot be recorded in [Panorama Shot] or [3D Photo Mode] Scene Mode.

Records a motion picture at the optimum settings for the selected effects. ••A motion picture cannot be recorded using [Star Filter], [Soft Focus],

[Smooth Defocus] and [Radial Defocus] in [Creative Control] Mode.

●●The aperture value cannot be changed even when the aperture ring is rotated. (Except [Creative Video Mode])

●●The built-in ND filter cannot be manually set even when the [ND/FOCUS] lever is pressed.
