Using the [Playback] menu

[Protect]

This function allows you to mark important pictures so they cannot be deleted accidentally.

Use cursor buttons to select [Single] or [Multi] and then press [MENU/SET]

Use cursor buttons to select the picture and then press [MENU/SET]

••To cancel → Press [MENU/SET] again.

■■To clear all settings

Select [Cancel] in step and select [Yes].

●●This function may not be effective when using other devices. ●●The picture is erased when formatting, even if it is protected.

●●When you set the write-protect switch on the card to the “LOCK” position, the picture is not erased.
