Takes pictures of scenes with fast movement, e.g. sports.

Tip

••Stand at least 5m (16 feet) away.

••Sports mode requires adequate lighting, to enable the higher shutter speed

 

to be used. This mode may not product acceptable results when shooting

 

indoors, under limited lighting.

 

••The shutter speed may slow down to 1 second.

Takes pictures of people and nightscapes with close to actual brightness.

[Night Portrait]

••Use flash.

••The subject should not move.

••Tripod, self-timer recommended.

••The shutter speed may slow down to 8 seconds.

••After recording, the shutter may stay closed (up to 8 seconds) to process the signal. This is not a malfunction.
