Taking pictures

Snapshot mode

Optimum settings are made automatically based on information such as “face”, “movement”, “brightness”, and “distance” just by pointing the camera at the subject, meaning that sharp and correctly exposed pictures can be taken without the need to make settings manually.

About Backlight Compensation ()

Backlight is a situation in which a subject is comparatively small and located in front of a bright background. In such situations a normal exposure would render such subjects too dark. A backlight compensation increases the exposure, resulting in such subjects being rendered brighter. In [Snapshot Mode], backlight compensation is activated automatically. When the camera detects backlight, is displayed on the monitor (depending on the conditions, backlighting may not be detected correctly).
