Taking pictures

Using the [Rec] menu

••For the setting procedures of the menu. (→25)

[Multi Expo.]

This mode allows you to combine two or three still pictures into a single one.

Settings

[Start]

Start taking pictures.

Decide on your composition and take the first picture

Press

to select [Next] and then [MENU/SET]

••[Retake]: Delete the result of the last shot and take another picture.

••[Exit]: Exit Multi Exposure and save the picture that was taken.

Take the second and third pictures

••When you press [MENU/SET] while taking pictures, the pictures that you took are saved and Multi Exposure is closed.

Use cursor buttons to select [Exit] and then press [MENU/SET]

[Auto Gain]

[ON]: Combines several pictures into one by automatically adjusting the

 

brightness in accordance with the number of pictures taken.

 

[OFF]: Combines several pictures into one by simply overlapping them

 

without any brightness adjustments.

 

Since this setting may create a combined picture that is too bright

 

for some situations, it may be advisable to set an Exposure

 

Compensation.

●●Still pictures are not saved in memory until Multi Exposure is ended.

●●Information for the picture taken last will be used as recording information of pictures taken using Multi Exposure.

●●The resolution setting will be fixed at the point at which you select [Start].

●●The zoom position and White Balance are fixed at the point at which you take the first picture.

●●There are some restrictions on the functions, for example, you will not be able to use the following functions.
