•YoucansettheminimumlengthofaharddiskpasswordthroughtheSecuritymenu.
•Ifyousetaharddiskpasswordofoversevencharacters,theharddiskdrivecanbeusedonlywitha
computerthatcanrecognizeaharddiskpasswordofoversevencharacters.Ifyoutheninstallthe
harddiskdriveinacomputerthatcannotrecognizeaharddiskpasswor dthatcontainsmorethan
sevencharacters,youcannotaccessthedrive.
•Recordyourpasswordandst oreitinasafeplace.Ifyouforgettheuserharddiskpassword,orbothuser
andmasterharddiskpasswor ds,Lenovocannotresetyourpasswordsorrecoverdatafr omtheharddisk
drive.YoumusttakeyourcomputertoaLenovoreselleroramarketingrepresentativetohavethehard
