Ifthekeyboardproblemisresolved,carefullyreconnecttheexternalnumerickeypadandtheexternal
keyboard.Makesurethatyouhaveseatedtheconnectorscorrectly .
Iftheproblempersists,makesurethatthecorrectdevicedriverisinstalled.
1.ClickStart➙ControlPanel.ChangetheviewofControlPanelfromCat egorytoLargeiconsorSmall
icons.
2.ClickKeyboard.
3.SelecttheHardwaretab.IntheDevicePropertiespane,makesurethatyouseethismessage:
DeviceStatus:Thisdeviceisworkingproperly.
Ifkeysonthekeyboardstilldonotwork,havethecomputerserviced.

Solution:Dothefollowing:
•PressFn+F7tobringuptheimage.
Note:IfyouusetheFn+F7keycombinationtoapplyapresentationscheme,pressFn+F7atleastthree
timesinthreeseconds,andtheimageisdisplayedonthecomputerscreen.
•Ifyouareusingtheacpoweradapter ,orusingthebatteryandthebatterystatusindicatorison(is
green),pressFn+F8tomakethescreenbrighter.
•Ifthesleepstatusindicatorison(isgreen),pressFntoresumefromthesleepmode.
•Iftheproblempersists,followthesolutionforthefollowingproblem.
