Set/Modify Auto Tune Parameters
1. At the [Satellite (#)] Command > prompt, type atset and press Enter.
2. At the Change auto tune settings (y/n)? prompt, either:
•Type y and press Enter to modify the current auto tune settings.
•Type n and press Enter to return to the Satellite Receiver Menu without modifying the auto tune settings.
3. At the Enable auto tune (y/n)? prompt, either:
•Type y and press Enter to enable and configure auto tune settings. Continue with step 4.
•Type n and press Enter to disable auto tuning on the transcoder. Go to step 7.
4.At the Enter auto tune time
Note: If you type an invalid entry at any of the auto tune settings prompts, the system will retain the existing settings and return immediately to the Satellite Receiver Menu. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to configure all of the settings.
5.At the Enter the primary tune to channel prompt, enter an HD
6.At the Enter the secondary tune to channel prompt, enter an HD
After you enter the secondary channel, the system will display confirmation: Auto tune set... OK
7.Without further user intervention:
•Any modifications to auto tune time or channel settings or a change from “enabled” to “disabled” status will take effect after the current auto tune cycle is completed. For example, if auto tune was previously scheduled for 5 AM, and you just disabled auto tuning, the changes will not take effect until after the next 5 AM auto tune cycle completes.
•If you enabled auto tuning after it had been previously disabled, the change will not take effect until 3 AM.
To implement changes immediately, return to the card menu (see section below), and reset the transcoder (see “Reset the Selected Transcoder Card” on page 43).
Return to the Transcoder Menu
At the [Satellite (#)] Command > prompt, type ret and press Enter to return to the card menu.
