5-2) Greasing

(1) Greasing guidelines

Apply grease, with a cleaning patch. Do not use exces-

sive grease. It may come into contact with the tape

transport or drive system. Wipe excessive grease and

clean with cleaning patch wetted in Isopropyl Alcohol.

(2) Periodic greasing

Grease specified locations every 5,000 hours.

(4) When the Video signal doesn't appear on the screen in REC Mode. Is the EE signal normal? 4. AUDIO CIRCUIT (1) No sound in EE Mode No sound in EE Mode. No sound. Replace the IC301 (2) No sound in PB MODE No sound in PB Mode. No sound. (3) No sound in REC Mode. NO sound in REC Mode. Sound is not recorded. Check the line of the 5V Power Circuit. Replace the FL401 or the Q405. 3-11 5.
