Ebranchage

L’ebranchage consiste a couper I& branches d’un arbre abattu.

ATTENTION!

Le risque de choc de recul est tres grand pendant I’ebranchage. Ne travaillez pas avec la pointe du guide. Soyez extremement prudent et evitez tout contact entre la pointe du guide et le tronc ou les branches. Ne montez pas sur le tronc que vous etes en train d’ebrancher car il pourrait rouler ou vous pourriezglisser.

Commencez I’ebranchage en laissant les branchesinferieurespour maintenir letronc a une certaine distance du sol (fig. 30). Ne coupez pas les branches pendantes par dessous. La tronconneuse pourraitQtrecoincee ou la branche pourrait tomber, vous faisant perdre le contrble de latronqonneuse.Si le guide est coince, arretez le moteur et retirez la tronqonneuseen soulevant la branche.

ATTENTION!

Soyez extremementprudent lorsquevous coupez des branches qui forcent. Les branches peuvent sauter vers I’utilisateur et entrainer une perte de contrde de latronconneuse ou blesserI’utilisateur.

Debitage

Le debitage onsiste a decouper un rondin en plusieurs morceaux.

1.Ne montez pas sur le rondin que vous etes en train de debiter. Assurez-vous que le rondin ne peutpasdescendrela pente. Encas dedebitage en terrain incline, I’utilisateur doit se trouver au-dessus du rondin (cf. fig. 31). Faites atten- tion aux rondins qui roulent.
