1 Introduction

Thank you for selecting a Maxtor product.

The new Maxtor OneTouchTM II FireWire 800 Edition, with triple interfaces (FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0), lets you access high-end graphics, photos and video files quickly, and connect easily with other computers.

This user’s guide will help you setup your drive and includes helpful tips for performing backups and getting the most out of your new Maxtor OneTouch II drive, FireWire 800 Edition.
