Problem solving guide

Before attempting any repairs out- lined on this page, first:

Press and hold the START/Stop button until the Program Selection indicator lamps light, then

Turn off the dishwasher using the ON/OFF switch.

The wash cycle finishes too early and the “Drain” Indicator lamp flashes

The drain hose is kinked.

The drain pump or non-return valve may be blocked – see “Cleaning and care”.

The “Spray arm” indicator lamp flashes

– The middle spray arm is obstructed by an item in the basket.

Open the dishwasher door and remove the obstruction.

The spray arm jets are blocked - see “Cleaning and care”.

Shortly after starting a program the “Water intake” indicator lamp flashes

– The water shutoff valve is closed.

Open the valve. The dishwasher should continue the program.

If the program does not continue:

Press the START/Stop button until the Program Selection indicator lamps light, then

Turn off the dishwasher using the ON/OFF switch.

Start the program again - see “Starting a program”.

Too little water may be entering the machine due to insufficient water pressure.

The intake hose filter is clogged - see “Cleaning and care”.

The “Water Intake” indicator lights during the “ENERGY SAVER” pro- gram.

The “ENERGY SAVER” program re- quires a water supply temperature of at least 45 °C/115 °F. If the incoming water is less than this temperature, the “Water Intake” lamp illuminates (see also “Program selection”). If your hot water system has been used recently, not enough hot water may have been available to adequately clean the dishes.

If necessary, repeat the program.

If the “Water Intake” lamp lights again, select a different program.
