Selecting cookware
Exceptions:

The food is heated only from above. To heat the food evenly place it in a container suitable for microwaving.
–For even defrosting and to avoid overcooking unevenly shaped cuts of meat, poultry or fish, small pieces of aluminum foil may be used to mask
Make sure that the aluminum foil is at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the oven walls at all times. It must not touch the walls.
–Metal meat skewers or clamps should only be used if they are small in comparison to the size of the meat.
–The enclosed combi rack is suitable for microwaving. Do not set it on the oven floor.
The combi rack gets hot. Let it cool before touching or use pot holders to avoid injury.
Glassware
Crystal contains lead and is unsuitable.
Porcelain (china)
Porcelain (china) is suitable for use in the microwave oven.
Do not use porcelain with gold or silver edging or items with hollow knobs or handles, insufficient ventilation may cause damage.
Earthenware
Decorated earthenware is only suitable if the decoration is beneath the glaze.
Earthenware can get very hot and may crack.
Glazes and colors
Some glazes and colors contain metallic substances. They are not suitable for the microwave.
