8-7. Maintaining Gun
Turn off welding power source/wire feeder.

Cut off wire and disconnect gun from feeder
Remove nozzle contact tip and adapter from head tube.

| Unscrew and remove liner. |
| Lay gun cable out straight before |
| installing new liner. |

| Reassemble gun in reverse order |
| from taking it apart. Be sure liner |
| stickout is approximately 3/4 in. (20 |
| mm). |
