Getting Started

Getting started with your new satellite phone is easy. Just charge your new batteries and insert your phone’s SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card. This chapter tells you how.

Keep in Mind: If you see a + next to a feature, the phone must be in satellite mode. If you see a r next to a feature, the phone must be in cellular mode. See “Selecting a Mode” on page 169 to change modes.
