3If necessary, enter your four-digit unlock code and press 2. (+) to unlock your phone.

Note: The unlock code is originally set to 1234. (For more information, see page 106.)

Note: At startup, you are given the option to personalise your phone. Select <(6 (-) to set personal phone options, or 12 (+) to go to the idle display. For more information, see page 91.

Adjusting the Volume

You can adjust your phone’s earpiece and ring tone volume by pressing Sleft and right.

Making a Call

Built-in antenna

There is a built-in antenna in the top of your phone. Do not block the antenna while you are making a call.

To call a number, your phone must:

•be turned on and unlocked

• have a SIM card inserted and unlocked

•have a network connection with adequate signal strength
