Use Symbol Mode
Yourpho ne provides an alternative way to find and enter symbol
characters in a text message. You can view and select from a
variety of available symbols.
Toactivate symbol mode from any text entry screen, press
M
and
select the
 #
menu option.
Toenter a symbol in symbol mode:

1Press a number
key one time display its symboloptions (See
page 41.)
Thesymbols associated with the
key you pressed are shown at
the bottom of the display. If
necessary, press other keypad
keys to find the symbol you
want.
