>) to display YES or NO. If NO is selected, the box around the
LFE (low frequency effects) icon on the DCP501 turns off. Selecting NO defaults all speaker
sizes to LARGE. Select NO if you are not connecting a subwoofer to the
AUDIO-PREOUT-SUB connector on the back of the DCP501.
8 Press SELECT or OK to accept your selection.
9 CROSSOVER FREQUENCY: Press down arrow (
) to select the subwoofer crossover
frequency, which is the frequency below which sound is output by your subwoofer. The
factory setting is 80Hz.

10 Press SELECT or OK and the currently selected setting flashes. In this example, 80Hz
flashes.

11 Press CURSOR left/right (<

>) to raise or lower the crossover frequency to 60Hz, 80Hz,
100Hz, or 120Hz. If the subwoofer has its own adjustment for crossover frequency, the
DCP501 menu setting should be set to the same (or closest) value.
12 Press SELECT or OK to accept your selection.
