When DOLBY DIGITAL is selected, the is displayed.
When DOLBY Pro Logic II Surround is selected, the is displayed.
When DOLBY Pro Logic Surround is selected, the icon is displayed.
When DOLBY 3 Channel Stereo is selected, the icon is displayed.
When DTS Surround is selected, the icon is displayed.
If a DSP sound mode is selected, the icon turns on and the sound mode is displayed:
STADIUM, CONCERT, THEATER, ARENA, CLUB, CHURCH, or STEREO.

Changing the DCP501 Tone Setting

Use this feature to define the bass and treble response. The factory setting is 0 dB. The range
is from 10 dB to +10 dB. To set the tone:
1 Press tone/level to display BASS.
2 Press select or ok and the current setting flashes.
3 Press cursor left/right (< >) to set the speaker bass response and press select.
4 Press tone/level twice to display TREBLE. Press select and the current setting flashes.
5 Press cursor left/right (< >) to set the speaker treble response and then press SELECT or OK.
Below are examples of what is displayed on your TV when you adjust the bass and treble
response on your DCP501.
