DCR Removal

Credit Card Transactions

Launch a transaction application on the MC75. In the application, select Cred it Card transaction.

Swipe the credit card through the magnetic stripe reader (MSR) slot, orienting the magneti c stripe as shown. Data

encoded on the credit card is captured and, depending on the applicatio n, may display in an application data field.

Debit Card Transactions

Launch a transaction application on the MC75. In the application, select Debi t Card transaction.

Swipe the debit card through the MSR slot, orienting the magnetic stripe as shown. Data encoded on the debit card

is captured and, depending on the application, may display in an applic ation data field.

NOTE Swipe the card in either direction, from left to right, or right to left. For best results, gently press down on the

card while swiping to ensure contact with the bottom of the slot.
