3Connect other end of PDA converter to the mating connector of the PDA device.

4If you are using the NTN8993 PDA adapter, connect the other end of the adapter to the PDA’s supplied data synchronization cradle and place the PDA into the cradle.

Universal Serial Bus (USB)

Your user will be able communicate with USB capable laptop and desktop computers.

USB capable i55sr phone supports both RS232 communications and USB communications (with USB mother devices). The i55sr phone will automatically detect whether an RS232 or USB cable has been connected to it and will utilize the appropriate protocol accordingly. No other action is required by the user in order to select between USB or RS232 serial communications.

iDEN PC applications will support USB drivers for the following operating systems only:

Windows 98

Windows 2000

Windows ME
