Making Calls

Use a TTY device — see “Mak ing TTY Calls” on
page 52
From the Keypad
To enter the number you want to call, press the
numbers on the keypad.
If you make a mi stake:
To clear a digit, press A under Delete.
To clear all digits, press and hold A under
Delete.
To insert or delete a digit an ywhere in the stri ng
of digits you have en tered, scroll left or r ight.
To cancel, press e.
From the Recent Calls List
The recent call s list stores the last 20 calls yo u
made or received.
With the Flip Open
1From the main menu, sele ct Recent Calls.
2Scroll to the name or number you wan t to call.
With the Flip Closed
1Press . to display the most recent call.
2To view the rest of the recent calls list, pre ss the
volume controls.
You can call the number displayed by pressing t
on the top of your phone.
From Contacts
If you have numbers stored in Contacts, you can
use these numbers to make calls. For information
on entering numbers into Contacts, see “Creating
Entries” on page 3 8.
1From the main menu, sele ct Contacts.
2Scroll to the name or number you want to call.
Tip:To find Contacts entries faster, use the
keypad to enter the first letter of the name.
3Place the call now. -or-
Scroll left or right to display the Contacts type for
the number you wan t to call.
If you are making a Private call, your phone places
the call to the Private ID stored in the Contacts
entry, even if the Private icon is not displayed.
If you are making a phone call:
Your phone places th e call to the phone number
assigned to the Contacts type displayed.
If the Contacts type displayed is not a phone
number, your phone places the call to the phone
number stored in th e Contacts entry.
