Configuring Windows Administrator

IP Location

When NPort 5110 is used in a dynamic IP environment, users must spend more time with IP management tasks. NPort 5110 products help out by periodically reporting their IP address to the IP location server, in case the dynamic IP has changed.

!Receive NPort 5110’s IP location report

!Centralize NPort 5110’s IP management in a dynamic IP environment.

1.Configure NPort 5110 to get an IP address dynamically. You may use DHCP, BOOTP, or DHCP/BOOTP. Assign the remote Auto IP report server’s IP address and UDP port.

2.Select IP Location Report and click the right mouse button to select Settings.
