3. Threadthe balljoint towardthejam nut to shortenthe
draglink.Thread theballjointawayfromthejamnut
to lengthenthedraglink.
4. Replacehex nutand retightenthejamnut afterproper
adjustmentisachieved.
NOTE:Threadingtheballjointstoofar ontothe drag links
willcausethe front tiresto "toe-in" too far.Propertoe-inis
between1/16"and5/16". Figure 19

1. Placethesteeringwheel inpositionfor straightahead
travel.
2. Infrontof theaxle,measurethe distancehorizontally
fromthe insideof theleft rim tothe insideof the right
rim.Notethe distance.
3. Behindtheaxle,measurethedistancehorizontally
fromthe insideof theleft rim tothe insideof the right
rim.Notethe distance.
4. The measurementtaken in frontofthe axle shouldbe
between1/16"and5/16"less thanthemeasurement
takenbehindthe axle.Adjustif necessary.
