NetGear Print Server Manual

Printer Type	These are text fields, used to describe the printer driver used for each port. Currently the only printer
	driver supported for AppleTalk is LaserWriter.

Communication	Sets whether the port uses ASCII or Binary Communication Protocol. Binary communication is faster
Protocol	than ASCII, but ASCII communication is more reliable. The default is ASCII.

Logical Port Tab

Logical printers (Logical Ports) can be used under Linux or Unix. The Print Server supports 3 Logical Ports. This screen allows configuration of Logical Ports.
