Using Panorama Assist

Using a tripod makes the composition easier. When using a tripod to stabilize the camera, set Vibration reduction (E73) to Off in the setup menu.

Display the shooting screen MA(shooting mode) button Mb(the second icon from the top*) MKMp(panorama)

* The icon for the last scene mode selected is displayed. The default setting is b(portrait).

1 Choose Panorama assist and press the k

the kbutton is pressed. A white icon (I) is displayed in the selected direction.

•Apply flash mode (A54), self-timer (A56), macro mode (A57) and exposure compensation (A58) settings with this step, if necessary.

•Press the kbutton again to reselect the direction.

3Frame the first portion of the

panorama scene and take the first picture.

The camera focuses on the subject at the
