TV Settings

Press the dbutton Mztab (A13) MTV settings

Adjust settings for connection to a TV.

Option

Description

 

Select from NTSC and PAL.

 

Both NTSC and PAL are standards for analog color

Video mode

Select a resolution for HDMI output. When Auto

(default setting) is selected, the option best suited to

the TV to which the camera is connected is

 

 

automatically selected from 480p, 720p, or 1080i.

HDMI device control

When On (default setting) is selected, the HDMI-CEC-

compatible TV’s remote control can be used to control

 

the camera during playback (E19).

C HDMI and HDMI-CEC

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a multimedia interface.

HDMI-CEC (HDMI-Consumer Electronics Control) allows compatible devices to inter- operate.

External Mic Sensitivity

Press the dbutton Mztab (A13) MExternal mic sensitivity

Set the external microphone sensitivity to Auto (default setting), High, Medium or Low when recording movies.

When the microphone sensitivity is set to Auto, the camera automatically adjusts the microphone sensitivity.
