Taking Pictures for a Panorama

The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod for best results. Set Vibration reduction (A 142) to Off when using a tripod to stabilize the camera during shooting.

1 Tap the shooting mode control in

3 Tap the direction.

Select how pictures will be joined together in the completed panorama; right (d), left (c), up (a) or down (b).

The panorama direction can be reselected by	9
tapping the panorama direction icon again.
Apply flash mode (A30), self-timer (A32), and
macro mode (A35) settings with this step, if necessary.

4Shoot the first picture.

The first picture is superimposed in the first third of the monitor.
