Use the camera’s built-in microphone to record voice memos for pictures.

Recording Voice Memos

1Select the desired picture from full- frame playback mode (A28) and tap z.

The retouch menu is displayed.

If zis not displayed in full-frame playback mode, tap b.

The screen for recording a voice memo will be displayed.

3Tap cto record a voice memo.

Recording ends after 20 seconds.

Do not touch the built-in microphone during recording.

During recording, oblinks in the monitor.

When cis tapped during recording, recording ends.

When recording ends, the voice memo playback screen is displayed. Follow the instructions in step 3 of “Playing Voice Memos” (A65) to play the voice memo.

Tap dbefore or after recording a voice memo to return to full-frame playback mode.
