4Press the shutter-release button all the way down again to exit smile timer

mode.

Shooting also stops in the following situations:

-When nine pictures have been taken

-When five minutes have been passed since the shutter-release button was pressed in step 3

-When the internal memory or memory card becomes full

BNote on the Smile Timer

The smile timer can be activated in A (auto) mode (A22), and Portrait (A37) and Night portrait (A 38) scene modes. The smile indicator is not displayed in Night portrait scene mode.

CFace Priority and Smiling Face Detection Features

When the camera is pointed at a face looking toward the camera in smile timer mode, the face is automatically recognized and the smiling face of the recognized one is detected.

In some shooting conditions, Face priority will not take effect and smiling face cannot be detected.
