Autofocus Mode

Display the shooting screen Mdbutton Me(Movie) tab (A11) MAutofocus mode

Choose how the camera focuses when recording normal speed movies (E53).

Option	Description
ASingle AF	Lock on the focus when the b(emovie-record) button is pressed
(default	to start recording. Select this option when the distance between the
setting)	camera and the subject remains fairly consistent.
	The camera focuses continuously during movie recording.
BFull-time AF	Suitable for shooting when the distance between the camera and
	subject changes. The operation sound of when the camera focuses
	may be recorded. Setting to Single AF is recommended if the sound
	is noticeable.

Wind Noise Reduction

Display the shooting screen Mdbutton Me(Movie) tab (A11) MWind noise reduction

Set whether or not to reduce wind noise during normal speed movie recording (E53).

Option	Description
	The noise of wind blowing on the camera's built-in microphone is
YOn	minimized during recording. This setting is suitable for recording
	in strong winds. Other sounds may become difficult to hear in
	playback mode.
kOff	Wind noise is not reduced.
(default setting)

•When On is selected, an icon for this setting is displayed on the monitor during movie recording (A6).

•When HS movie recording is selected in Movie options, wind noise reduction cannot be used. The setting is fixed at Off.
