Choose the function assigned to the AE-L/AF-Lbutton on the optional MB-D11 battery pack.

	Option	Description
B AE/AF lock		Focus and exposure lock while the MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed.
C	AE lock only	Exposure locks while the MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed.
F	AF lock only	Focus locks while the MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed.
		Exposure locks when the MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed, and remains

EAE lock (Hold) locked until the button is pressed a second time or the exposure meters turn off.

A AF-ON	Pressing the MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton initiates autofocus. The shutter-
	release button can not be used to focus.
	Press the MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton to lock flash value (built-in flash and
r FV lock	SB-900, SB-800, SB-700, SB-600, SB-400, and SB-R200 flash units only,
	0 149). Press again to cancel FV lock.

GSame as Fn The MB-D11 AE-L/AF-Lbutton performs the function selected for Custom

button Setting f3 (0 230).

DVR Lenses

Vibration reduction can not be initiated by pressing the AE-L/AF-Lbutton.
