Framing Photographs in the Monitor

Follow the steps below to take photographs in live view.

1 Rotate the live view switch.	x
The mirror will be raised and the view through the lens will
be displayed in the camera monitor. The subject will no
longer be visible in the viewfinder.

Time remaining	The recording time remaining in movie mode.	58

o Movie quality	The frame size and quality of movies recorded in movie mode.	60
Monitor	Displayed while the Lbutton is pressed; keep the button
	pressed and press 1or 3to adjust brightness (this applies to	—
