Using the Applications

An Internet connection is required in order to use online service. Set up your Wi-Fi (wireless LAN) network (A80).

Searching for Information

You can search for files saved in the COOLPIX S800c or information on the Internet. On the home screen, press the d button and tap Search to display the search screen.

•Enter the search keyword and tap or tap any of suggested search terms to display the search results. For more information about entering text, see “Entering Text” (A86).

•To start a new search, press the V (back) button.

Using the Internet

You can also use the Internet browser to search for information, just as you would on a personal computer.

•Tap (browser) on the home screen to open the browser.

•Tap the address (URL) bar at the top of the browser window.

•Enter a URL or search keyword, and tap or tap one of the suggested search terms to display the corresponding web page. For more information about entering text, see “Entering Text” (A86).

•To start a new search, press the V (back) button.
