Gives theinitiation string that should be sent to the modem before connection is
made. Parameters, which are specific to the mode m, can be given for this, e.g.
for flow control. E.g.: INIT_STRING = “AT&K4M1L2” for an Intertex modem
which is to run XON/XOFF.

Gives the telephonenumber prefix for international calls. 00 in Sweden. Used
for exampleby faxstat.

Gives the number of retrieswhen the line is engaged. Used only when XFAX is
