Troubleshooting

Below are the potential problems you may run into and the possible solutions. After each problem description, some instructions are provided to help you to diagnose and to solve the problem.

Problem

None of the LEDs are on when

Initialization of PVC connection

Ensure that the cable is connected properly

ADSL SYNC led on the front panel of the

 

router should be on.

 

Check that your VPI, VCI, type of

 

encapsulation and type of multiplexing

 

settings are the same as what you collected

 

from your telephone company and ISP.

 

Reboot the router. If you still have

 

problems, you may need to verify these

 

variables with the telephone company and/or

 

ISP.
