MULTI CH button (39)

Selects the multichannel DVD input.

Arrow [Controlling the AV Receiver]/[ ]/[2]/[Manual background ] and ENTER buttons

Used to select and adjust settings.

SETUP button

Used to change settings.

LISTENING MODE buttons (48)

Used to select the listening modes.

DIMMER button (40)

Adjusts the display brightness.

DISPLAY button (41)

Displays information about the current input source.

MUTING button (40)

Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver.

VOL [Manual background]/[ ] button (39)

Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode.

RETURN button

Returns to the previous display when changing set- tings.

AUDIO button (57)

Used to change audio settings.

SLEEP button (40)

Used with the Sleep function.

* SP A/B is not used in this AV receiver.

Controlling the tuner

To control the AV receiver’s tuner, press the [TUNER] (or [RECEIVER]) REMOTE MODE button.

You can select AM or FM by pressing the [TUNER] but- ton repeatedly.

Used to tune into radio stations.

 

2Number buttons (44)

Used to select AM and FM radio stations directly.

3D.TUN button (44)

Selects the Direct tuning mode.

4DISPLAY button (44)

For detailed information, see the pages in parentheses.

AON/STANDBY button (33)

Sets the AV receiver to On or Standby.

BREMOTE MODE/INPUT SELECTOR buttons (39, 66–72)

Selects the remote controller modes and the input sources.

Displays information about the band, frequency, preset number, and so on.

5CH +/– button (45)

Selects radio presets.

Note:

An Onkyo cassette recorder connected via Manual backgroundManual background can also be controlled in Receiver mode (see page 71).
