Making calls

Important:

LYou can choose the landline or IP line

to make a call. Make sure to choose

the appropriate line for the phone

number.

LTo call a Panasonic GLOBARANGE

phone, dial the A number

consisting of a # followed by 10 digits

(page 4).

Using the base unit f

1To make a landline call, press

{TEL}.

To ma ke a A internet call, press

{IP}.

LYou can also make a call by

pressing {s}. The line set for line

selection mode is automatically

selected (page 29).

2Dial the phone number.

3When the other party answers,

speak into the MIC.

LSpeak alternately with the other

party.

4When you finish talking, press {s}.

Note:

LUse the speakerphone in a quiet

environment.

Ll To make calls from your A

number to landline and mobile phone

numbers via your IP line, you need to

subscribe to the appropriate service at

www.joip.com

When calling, you may not hear

ringtones from your speaker for more

than 1 minute as the unit tries to

access the destination phone number.

This is normal, please wait.

Ll If it takes some time to call the

number in step 2, press {#} to call it

immediately.

LWhile on a call, you can switch from

the base unit to the handset:

– P ress {TEL} or {IP} on the

handset, then press {s} on the

base unit.

– If the handset is on the base unit,

simply lift it.

Adjusting the speaker volume

Press {>} or {<} repeatedly while

talking.

Redialling the last number dialled

Press {TEL} or {IP}. i {R}

Lk If the other party’s line is

engaged, the unit will automatically

redial multiple times. The

speakerphone indicator flashes. To

cancel, press {■}.

Answering calls

Using the base unit f

When a call is being received, the TEL

indicator or IP indicator flashes rapidly.

1{s}

LYou can also answer the call by

pressing the flashing {TEL} or

{IP}.

2Speak into the MIC.

3When you finish talking, press {s}.
